Charm Necklace Advice

Tip #1 - Choosing a Chain

For a signature stack necklace, choose any chain you desire! If you plan to add any of our heavier weight charms like the Vintage Coin, Engraved, or Scalloped Charm we recommend selecting our medium paperclip, rolo or heavier weight chains.

Save the light paperclip chain for smaller stacks like a ribbed heart, small glass zodiac, and small letter or number charm.

For classic charm necklaces we recommend choosing any chain with a circular chain style (avoid the paperclip styles). The light circle charm chain, heavy round chain and rolo chain are all excellent choices.

Tip #2 - Signature Stack Suggestions

Create a double stack with a ribbed heart and small glass charm (this pair looks great on our light paperclip chain and our medium paperclip with toggle chain.

Create a trio stack with the largest charm on the bottom. Mix and match glass and brass. Add a fourth (or even fifth) charm like a letter, number, pearl or gemstone for an extra pop of personality and color.

Tip #3 - Classic Charm Suggestions

Always design your classic charm necklace with an odd number of charms (3, 5, 7, 9).

Position your largest charm as the necklace centerpiece and the smaller charms on either side.

Your charm necklace can be as chunky and bold or as light and delicate as you like! For a bolder look, select our heavy round chain. For a lighter more delicate look, select our light circle charm chain.

Tip #4 Bracelet & Earring Help

Create a simple one charm bracelet with any of our misc, vintage states, pearls, gemstones, small glass zodiac, or tiny zodiac charms.

If you want a classic charm bracelet design we recommend choosing 3-5 charms.
